About CeCaFDB
CeCaFDB is a general-purpose,freely available and curated fluxomics database. It collects and stores quantitative flux results of central carbon metabolism among various organisms explored by 13C metabolic flux analysis. The database encompasses 581 cases of fluxomics result among 36 organisms. In addition to its comprehensive literature-derived data, the CeCaFDB supports a common text search among the data and interactive visualization of curated flux distributions with compartmentation information based on the Cytoscape Web API, which facilitates data interpretation. The CeCaFDB offers four modules to calculate a similarity score or to perform an alignment between the flux distributions. Based on these modules,CeCaFDB supports flux map query task against all the curate flux map data through similarity comparison after they have been submitted to CeCaFDB.
It is intended to be used as a platform for the display, comparison and distribution of fluxomics experimental result. We attempt to cover as more flux distribution results as possible. New flux data are added monthly after they appeared publicly. Please let us know if some research have escaped our attention, its our duty to add them !
