Culture medium Cultivations of P.putida S12JNNmcs(t) was performed at 30 Celsius in 500ml Erlenmeyer flasks (no baffles) containing 50ml minimal medium (Hartmans et al., 1989) with 10 mg/l gentamicin and 0.1mM salicylate as an inducer for the heterologous nagR/PnagAa promoter controlling the expression of TPL (tyrosine phenol lyase).
