Genotype The recombinant,riboflavin-producing strain is characterized by a single chromosomal copy of the modified B.subtilis rib operon and a deregulating mutation in the ribC gene.
Culture medium The minimal medium was supplemented either with 3.6g/L of glucose containing 13C at natural abundance,or with 3.1g/L of glucose at natural abundance and 0.5g/L uniformly labeled [13C6]-glucose.

Case-specific description In vivo flux distribution in central carbon metabolism of the riboflavin-producing B.subtilis strain was normallzed to the dilution rate of 0.11/h in the glucose-limited chemostat.
